When the Indian PM spoke in the combined session of the US Congress, he wanted to speak passionately about the role of women in the society. Instead of saying, "Investing in a girl child" he wrongly used the term, "investigating in a girl child". I feel the speech writers should be careful in presenting talks that are in English to the PM. No parent would consider raising a girl child as investing. They would have just used the word, "Raising or bringing up a girl child". Thank God, all the Congressmen ignored that comment and they are notorious for laughing at the mistake of fellow senators and represenatives. As a mark of respect for the Indian PM, they just kept quiet.
