    Welcome Jey & Aabhi to our motivation group!! Jey - of course men are welcome!! Remember you are answerable to all us ladies now, so no slacking off!!

    Aabhi - as for weight training, I think most people have this notion that women will become bulky - not true. Yes, there are women who train specifically for that - you know like the weight lifters, etc. But lifting 5 - 10 lbs will tone you.

    I did my 1 hour today 1/2 hour in brisk walk and 1/2 hour in cycling.
    Tomorrow planning the same.
    Looks like everyone is making good progress. Welcome to the new faces.

    Hi Everyone

    I want to join this group too... I have been working out from last 2-3 years... But since i got married... cant keep a check on my diet, as i have to cook, keeping in mind my hubby's interest too...Generally I look Thin, My weight keeps ranging from 110-115 never goes above that, I'm 25 yrs old and 5.2", ... but lately, I have Love Handles (also called Muffin Top)... also want to reduce an inch or 2 from waist...

    My daily workout

    Treadmill - 20 minutes
    Weights - 10-15 minutes
    Abs - 150 basic crunches (3 sets of 50)... oblique crunches (30 on each side)... and Reverse crunches or leg raises

    Thanks for welcoming me and today could'nt go to gym so i did skipping 500 times and i am happy that i did start with something that helps my weightloss

    Thanks for the warm welcome.

    Yesterday I did 35 mins of brisk walking & jogging, 15 mins of cycling.

    Planning the same for today as well.

    WIll be really busy this week and may not be able to post much. But i did do my 40 minutes of weight and power walk yesterday. Will be going to the gym againtoday... But rest assured, even if i don't post, i will be working out.

    Jey , you are not to be seen man. What happened. You need to give us an account of whether you did work out or not!!

    I was a good boy yesterday. Did about 5 mins heavy running + 5 min power walk. It looks so little when I write, but it felt like forever on the treadmill!! Then did 10 mins of abs and 20 mins of weight. Took it light yesterday because my main objective was to drag myself to the Gym inspite of this this cold weather:)

    Shobana, I was planning to slack off yesterday and I thought (obviously) had very good excuses. But, saw your message and ran straight to the gym!

    Vandhana, Thanks for checking on me! Oh..I am really accountable here!

    Jey - I was laughing to myself when I read your post!! I tell you this buddy system is awesome!

    Vandhana - you are doing so well - I think we both guilted Jey into going to the gym!! Job well done!!

    My workout yesterday:

    1 hr Pilates - it was so rejuvenating - did not realize one hr flew by.

    Unlike Vandhana if I dont post here I am not going to do it Now I have to say I could not get my worjout done. Even I can see me slipping into not doing though I think i have excuses. hope to be track by tomorrw
    If anyone wants to aim some at me go right ahead.

    I did it.:bananaI did it :banana I did it :banana

    I am feeling good my hubby motivated me to goto workout he worked out with me too.

    So I did 45 mins of brisk on elliptical
    Then 15 min brisk walk
    then 10 min abs

    So tomorrow aiming for same . see you all tomorrow.
