    You are right , we women dont have retirement , its only transfer from office job to home job. But we take pride in doing it.

    Dear viji aunty,

    yes, you are right....women never get retirement from their household works....especially the kitchen...:bonk....so, i always make sure that i take a day off from kitchen work in a week, to run around the whole of next week... ofcourse, my DH helps me in my works, but that break is a must for me... nice one ...

    i always love to read your snippet because it is short precise and matters!
    as i am so lazy to read a lengthy one that too particularly in english!
    a wonderful snippet dear!
    yes women don't get retirement from kitchen at all!
    till now my grandma use to cook!
    she doesn't keep quiet taking rest even if she is not well!
    she says a rasam at home is 100 times better than a hotel full meals!
    of course it is true what tastes better than a mother's food????
    and she even loves to see her children eating her food tasting it well and giving nice compliments!
    actually they don't like to get retirement also till end!    :cheers

    Glad to know you like my posts. Grandmothers take pleasure in cooking what their grandchildren like the best. My grandmother also used to love cooking and never used to take rest from cooking. She was always active. Whatever we like the next day she used to make for us. She had no retirment .
