<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--><!--[endif]-->
Her journey begins with a death certificate from the womb itself, yes! According to the karma, it does start from birth to death, but here she is being chased with a scissor and axe right from inside the womb, I am surprised the ecological balance is again and again reproducing in cycles, the more the man slaughters the more girl child are born.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--><!--[endif]-->
Before she learns to speak about ma and baba she needs to learn how to protect herself from rape. What is the word and how does it look or how does it feel is something that she has to be taught as a toddler, to fight against the intruders of innocence.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--><!--[endif]-->
Never knew her sweet smile could arouse the animal in human, that’s god’s gift to her to show her happiness, but alas! She needs to take stock when to smile even when she is toothless.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--><!--[endif]-->
Take it she escapes the attack as a toddler and grows on to a teenage there again men lurk in every corner to rape and kill her and her brain cell every moment. Are you aware the amount of rape incidents are more after a marriage than before, because men use u like their gift shop, send her to boss for promotion, or to click a liaison.
Even in some houses the man who lent his seed known as the father is no friend, but could be her worst enemy, wish she was born without the organ to reproduce at all, then none would attack her so much.
What exactly is happening in this present situation, the psychological aspect, what you see is the western exposure or the present freedom of studying together has spoilt it? Or are the situations coming to fore only now in India.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--><!--[endif]-->
Some 30 to 40 years ago we found men respected woman a lot, not that there was no exploitation but it was in a limited circle and many a time very rare, or may be woman never went to complain as no complaint would be taken against any man.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--><!--[endif]-->
They talk about love all the time but how many are ready to accept it the way it is, some go to the extent to throw acid so that she will not have chance to live. What is not mine is should not belong to anyone else either. The recent female serial killer kempamma has taken full advantage of this situation.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--><!--[endif]-->
Woman are their own enemies in many a situation, when are they going to rise to see that their lot are being destroyed just by any name, so when a DIL comes she is ready with weapons to do MIL away, the same goes to the MIL, she is also vulnerable in many a situation, so no use shouting hoarse about woman’s right when their very living is under scanner. Still she is forced to marry the choice of parents to be rejected by the parents not to support her if the alliance fail.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--><!--[endif]-->
The recent New Year episode from all over the country giving details about the men going berserk with mauling woman as if they are a rare commodity not available to them.
The mental agony that woman are put through is no end. Police? they are men in uniform that’s all so nothing can be expected, we need mothers to wake up and do something about this, frustration of fighting with husbands has to stop, the child only grasps that woman are a nuisance, so the toddler is witness to abuse and irritation and depression.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--><!--[endif]-->
Take time to take the children out and spend some quality time with them so they realize what it is to have parents with them, supervise and personally try to be there when needed. Never indulge in keeping illegal weapons in the house, do not expose them to violence in movies, it influences a lot and they feel that is the quick and right way to tackle.

Hi Madam,
Very well written & most accurate situation in current times. The things which you have discussed can happen to any girl in the world irrespective of thier social and cultural differences, taken the recent attacks on foreign women in Delhi and other places. I myslef have observed one particular point that since teeange girls are more vulnerable and inexperienced of the bad society around, they are the main recipient of the terrible looks and nasty gestures from men when compared to women in youth.
So when i recall of such situations in buses,crowded places etc, i wonder why didn't i oppose it?
This happened when i just took admission in my engineering college and it was the first time i am travelling in a train without any of my parent. i was accompanied by my senior. We boarded a very rush train(as it was the month of Navaratri ) and many were rushing to their homes. We both managed to get seats, I sat beside a young mother with an year old baby. My senior sat just opposite to me and she slowly drowsed into a nap. And then i saw a middle aged man, who was standing beside her seat leaning and was almost falling over her, in the pretext of giving space to other passengers, vendors, etc.I realised that he was doing it intentionaly and everyone else is too busy to observe this. I somehow managed to wakeup my senior irespective of her protests, but didnot disclose anything to her. And then comes the funny part, when my senior noticed the standing man beside her, she felt pity for him and offered him a small place beside her. He sat beside her, glancing me with a smile and i could clearly see signs of lust as well as some from of sadistic victory in his eyes.
Whenever i recall that incident, i curese myself a lot and wonder i was such a dumb gal. If it would have been now, i would have warned him myself or else make others teach him a lesson.

dear ramya,
mothers can only come to certain level but, if they do teach the right things according to the situation and time in life, i feel most children would grow up thinking about their upbringing and habits.
i saw an english film where dancing was taught to children who have been thrown out of the class with no concentration and jerking away to music with loud raps, then this gentle man who teaches ball room dancing comes in and brings about a change.
when the faculty and parents question him about what use it is, he explains by taking the lady principal to dance and after a few movements he says while dancing, now she is dancing because she has confidence in me that i would not misbehave, and i am dancing because i respect the lady, and this sort of teaching help the student to teach how to hold a lady with respect and not keep looking at them with lust, and wait for the first chance to pounce.
these pouncers of new year are coming from these restricted zones so when they get a freedom they misuse it.I remember my mother telling us, purushakittey pogha koodadu, pakkathiley okkara koodadu, kanneduthu paarka koodadu, like this the list went on and later once married i had to look up and handle many situation alone, so the extreme conditioning of mind is also bad, lets take the step according to present situation and teach a child to respect her body.

she should say no with confidence to every one including the husband when taken advantage of, no one will come to rescue u there, when u r alone, when your husband's friends ask for favor of sex, only u can refuse if u inform your husband, he might say cheh! That guy, he would never do something like this, then u r in more soup as he will take more advantage, so better to help the children see before these things come into fore..my answer seems becoming more hahah ...sunkan

dear sravanthi,
age and difference of time and experience do take us backward in thought and sometime regret and sometime happy, so take it in stride, i am sure u must be handling things a lot better now, as with experience your attitude also changes a lot...sunkan
