There is this beautiful tree in my parking lot.It has a small pink swing on its branch which adds to its glamor. In the summers bright sun , green leaves so fresh and young and little babies swinging and laughing merrily...its a treat for our eyes. Then comes the fall...the beautiful yellow orange leaves ,which everyone wants to take a picture of ,older kids kick the fall leaves and have so much fun out loud, reminding you of your school days and friends...and now at the end of fall season ,with all the leaves gone ,like a queen who has removed her crown and stepped down the royal glory...my favorite tree stands there with its withered branches dancing in the wind, reminding you of some fairy tale witch. With the winter and the heavy snow, she goes completely unnoticed as people hurry from their homes to vehicles ,no one sees if she is there. When I walk past her, i feel like she is grinning at me hissing...winters aren't forever, Spring will be here soon and i will once again be bestowed with kids and people under my shade. How true, I smile back. God gives everyone a chance, to revive, replenish and come back to life. Winters aren't forever.
Simply superb and very well narrated dear. Touched with so many memoirs while reading your blog post and enjoyed well. Regards, Latha.
