    Hi All,

    I just read this quote "Wife is always right,even when she's wrong" today and felt how far this is true and what relevance does it hold in real married life!!Pour in your thoughts !!!

    Its just a joke...
    We all know that even God is not always right..we are mere mortals we cant be always right
    But, if a husband can pretend that wife is always right then he will live longer, have better meals cooked for him , and probably get more huggs and kisses! LOL

    I accept this...Because I have seen many women do not admit when they commit mistakes , and they keep on argue to make their facts are true. My mom never accepts when she commits or does anything wrong, and she keeps on argue that she is right...finally my dad and I hav to accept she s right with head nodding or teasing her "yes you are 100% right"

    A typical wife would argue to this as:

    This quote was coined only so that husbands could escape taking active participation/decisions in household matters. They just don't care, so sugarcoat their indifference with 'you are always right, darling'.

    They may start with the same alphabet. But "wife" and "wrong" can never be used in the same sentence.
    (It was a joke).

    Most DH will agree to the statement in theory while laughing behind DW's back.
    Its also convenient to dump volatile decisions on the wife and get away from responsbility eg. what gifts to give to relatives, whom to invite so that they are absolved of blame if any.
    'You said so...........' makes a DH look innocent, docile and obedient while the DW gets the flak.
    In practise a DH will rarely follow even route directions given by DW while locating any venue etc though he may have to drive round and round.................for miles.:coffee

    I would say husband is always wrong if he doesnt listen to his wife:biggrin2:

    on a different note, i agree with dinny, there cannot be always right or wrong as we all are humans. but for some issues, its better for husband's peace of life to he not stress too much of his attitude on wife and agree with her:)
