Nah... Some discussion on US is happening so Y not? Let's discuss TN too! Shared my views.. Opn for more discussion...
Should we move our discussions to new thread & leave this to the WHY analysis or just continue here?? :confused2::roll:
I agree with the fact that we are left with AIADMK only for now in Tamilnadu. And not just the freebies, she has also brought about some good policies in Tamilnadu. We are the second fastest growing state in india. My mom is a Headmistress and she tells a lot about changes are were being brought about in education department. Though i am not happy that inspite of she being corrupt she has been released, Still without her we wont have proper AIADMK govt also in tamilnadu. Tamilnadu politics will become a big chaos. This is the time for other smaller parties to pick and dust themself up and do good and prove better. A good coalition opposition is atleast required for tamilnadu legislative. Lets wait and see if these judgements has brought about any changes in her. How her government might be...
Abt the judgement... Media & Editorials say her release is because... 1. At the centre her party has the second majority in both houses next to congress. So its a calculated move from BJP & modi so they can easily pass their bills in both houses. Seems believable 2me, not sure how much of this is actually true. 2. She needs to be out & ready for the next election... There is 50-50 chance that she wins on the basis of sympathy wave or lose because its very obvious to even a common man that judgement is bought with power & money. Agree that she has done some good, like power cuts have considerably reduced unlike in DMK rule, but we have to wait & watch. Well, let's be neutral & discuss other parties probabilities as well, otherwise this could turn a Jaya thread, like how one of the poster here pointed out, frustrating in the end...?!
I have interest in politics and wondered why women keep away from the discussion. A house needs four walls to live in and a country also needs walls and pillars. The four pillars of a country are THE PEOPLE,GOVERNMENT,MEDIA AND ARMY.We the PEOPLE have the utmost resposibility to build our Nation.we must elect good politicians to serve the country,to give voice for our rights and to work for the people. But we do mistakes in electing them and they waste our money by simply shouting at each other and walk out often but very prompt in getting their allowances.Instead of thinking about the welfare of the people they think about their own people's welfare. If the elected people are selfish then how can there be a GOOD GOVERNMENT OR STRONG GOVERNMENT. Army is there to save a country from the external enemies.unfortunately they have internal enemies and fight with themselves.Often this is revealed out which causes danger to Nation's security.we believe you but you betray us Then comes the MEDIA .There is a proverb that "A PEN IS MIGHTIER THAN SWORD" which sounds good. But now do the media do justice for their profession, for the community and for the nation. They use their brain to make money.yes you need money but don't give much importance to unwanted elements and make them popular. They don't have guts to point out the erratic people but make platform for them.In the televisions we see a group of politicians taking part in discussion and no public are invited. If the public are invited they can point out the mistakes and question the elected people which can create an awareness among the politicians . Save our Nation and bring out a GOOD PORTRAIT of our Country I have written this long ago and now I post here.
IMHO it's because on daily basis most women deal with so much politics... with our siblings, inlaws, relatives, employers, co-workers... so there is no bandwidth remaining to get interested in real politics
Just being my curious self again... Back to the WHY analysis here... Is it not our role to be a responsible public? How do we become such if we stay away from even discussing politics? Now don't you Dare blame it on the politicians or corrupted govt or illiterate janatas. Corruption just doesn't happen at higher levels but closer to us too... One way or other as the public, we have a part in letting corruption grow. Now that its off our hands, we are too ashamed to bear the guilt, passing it on to the shoulders of the political elements. But its not too late either. Or may be its just the right time now! By discussing, we might have a clarity on the issues in India & how they are handled, which govt/party handles it in fair way, who thus can be in power or not. Discussions create awareness & media helps spread the awareness. If AAP can become a party with social media, If BJP can gather votes via Social media, if a song can be super hit because it was viral in social medias, y cannot we bring a change???!!
Interesting thread...May be we should have different threads to discuss Indian and International politics separately....
