Hi. I am a 43 yr old woman from India. 10 days

ago I had D&C HYSTEROSCOPY AND A POLYP REMOVED.

Results were all normal. I have been having

longer periods since JANUARY this year, so I had

to undergo this. I have been also diagnosed with

hypothyroidism and am taking pills now for one

and half months. My thyroid test was taken which

was ok recently. But my problem is even after 14
days of that operation, my bleeding has not

completely stopped. It is happening like that of

1st day of period. I am worried pls help.

It is normal to bleed for 7-10days after d&c but only it shouldn't be heavy flow.

If you're having heavy bleeding, fever, abdominal pain, and / or foul smelling vaginal discharge, you MUST immediately go to a doc. Don't delay.

If its light bleeding (changing 2-3 sanitary pads a day) then just take rest and see for another 2-3days. If it doesn't stop even then, you need to meet your doc.
