Dear Sudha, Thankyou very much for your F b. The perspectives with which I understand Gita in my second cycle of Gita classes, is very different from how I understood it the first time ! One has to take care of oneself before "redeeming" the world. I am suprised but very happy that Roshni, at such a young age, enjoyed the lines on Karma Yoga. Your daughter is really mature, Sudha ! God bless her ! Love, Chithra.
Dear chitra mam, what a great write up!!!! i'm so thrilled reading about GITA and eagerly waiting for ur next one. there is some magic in u mam that i will understand the concept very easily thankyou so much cheers sreelatha
Dear Sreelatha, Thankyou for yourfeedback. I am very happy to know that you are interested in the Gita. The magic is not in me, Sreelatha ! It is in you because you show interest & want to understand !! Many run a mile away at the very mention of the word Gita !:tongue Love, Chithra.
Dear Madam, I always wonder at Gita Upadesam. Even at the time of crisis and at the place of a war, the Lord gave His upadesam. Arjuna too received with full patience. That covered all the aspects of life. But in today's world though we manage to get a person to advice us, we do not listen to them patiently. Our minds need lot of training for small small things in life. And it would be great if we could read a verse from Gita and its meaning everyday in our forum. Thank you very much for a nice post. regards, Vanaja
Dear Vanaja, I am happy that you have joined us in our thread. As I wrote recently, only a thirsty man will rush to water; so a hungry man to food. The same way, we desparately look for a solution only when in dire trouble ! We lack the patience to listen to advice, because we think, it is not necessary when the going is good ! Yes, if we can arrange for a verse to be read with the meaning in our forum, it will be excellent. But the nameI L should not change to Preachers' Forum ! Hardly a handful will show interest if such a thread is started !:tongue Who will bell the cat ? Love, Chithra.
Dear Madam, Let us not make it a daily issue. Atleast once a week would be more than enough. People who are in constant touch with Gita can start a thread. regards, Vanaja
Dear Vanaja, Good suggestion. For the next few weeks, I plan to explain a few more introductory terms to Vedanta, after which, I plan to start Gita, full fledged. May be then we can consider this idea! Love, Chithra.
Dear Hamsadhwani, Thankyou very much. We will deal with a few more technical topics ( which are a must) before we go on to the Gita. Love, Chithra.
My dear Chithra That was indeed a very nice write up about Gita. I enjoyed each and every line of what you have written. These days I have started reading Bhagawad Gita daily and it gives me a sense of comfort. Waiting for next week's post. Love and regards Priya
