Hi Ladies, My son just became a year old:thumbsup..My paed suggested to start on whole milk.I have a few questions regarding it.. 1) Was wondering which brand is good as far as organic milk is concerned? 2) I am also planning to boil the milk;I don't know if that's necessary? 3) I want to give warm milk to baby.So take it out of fridge and heat it all the time?How does it work at night?Can the milk be kept outside the fridge?If so for how many hours? 4) What do you do while travelling? I used to buy horizon / Safeway brand organic milk. Boiling milk in USA is not necessary. As milk there is already pasteurized & homogenized ie: already boiled. Give baby room temp milk to avoid probs in traveling ( no place to heat it) Baby shouldn't need milk in middle of night at this age. Avoid giving milk at that time. If u have to pour milk in bottle & heat in bottle warmer / stove / microwave. Or give formula / breastmilk.
After reading mumerous articles abt how dairy animals are given hormones to increase production, and how these hormones are not good for humans, i would like to know if there is any brand which does not have these problems. How about using soya milk? Pls advise.
