    Dear Harini,
Don't keep calculating your age. Just keep thinking that age is only a number.

    Dear PS m'am,

How true your words are. You said it all with a wit and smile! You should know after all!!

Whether the saying is true or not, I do find solace in the phrase as I keep adding the number to my age! When someone says that today's seventy is yesterday's fifty, I nod my head with full enthusiasm even as my glasses on the nose does a jig and the gray strands escape and dance on my forehead!

Every day is a present from the Almighty and I want to be all there and present to enjoy the present!

RGS is also duly impressed with your lovely lines and nominated this to the Finest of the Month! Congrats!

    L, Kamla

    Dear Pushpa,

A poem from the heart! Not from imaginative thinking but flowing from maturity and actual experience! It deserves to be nominated by no less a person as great as RGS. congrats.

    Dear Kamla,

I was quite surprised to know that our master poet RGS has nominated my poem for finest post.

Of course the saying " Age is only a number," may be true for many elderly people.

By God's Grace I am also enjoying life in my late seventies without any major ailments. As you have said, everyday is a present from the Almighty as long as we are hale and hearty.

I have seen many elderly people in our family and friends' circle who suffered a lot and now also suffering. After seeing the suffering person on a sudden impulse I have written this. I felt that I should express my thoughts in a lighter vein.

I am very much humbled to know that impressed RGS and made him to nominate.

Thank you also for your appreciation,

    PS
