    Dear Moderator,
I have no clue where i can post this thread, kindly redirect it to the correct forum and please re-send the link.

    My query is

Currently we are having our Insurance with United health care ..our monthly premium is coming around $ 700. In this plan their maternity benefits are good, like once pregnancy is confirmed it will cover all the chargers, including the test etc.. we are thinking to shift to Blue cross blue shield as month premium is coming less around 350-400. But i don't know much about the maternity benefits of blue cross. We are residing in North Carolina. It will be great help if you can share your maternity experiences with these two insurance providers . Which one to choose and which one is better..

    Thanks lot
    Medharaghav

You can't go by the company but you have to investigate carefully the benefit list of each plan. Ask you HR to show you that or if they are of no help, get the group number for the policy and call the company directly and talk to them.

We had UHC one year and other year we had BC.For us we had difference only in Deductible, otherthings coverage was the same, though BC was little costly.

It depends on your employer and your plan benefits.Compare both plans for maternity benefits, deductible,Inpatient services, outpatient servies and call the insurance company directly and find out.
