My favorite season is fall/autumn. The leaves in the trees here change in wonderful hues of orange and yellow - there is that slight chill in the air. I love to to bundle up and watch high school football games during this time.

I saw the word "Coonoor" - and I did a double take - hardly seen that place mentioned here. My father was born and brought up there and I lived a big part of my early life there - actually in the nearby tea estates but my grandparents lived there. It brought back memories to see that town mentioned here!

You have brought back more memories for me now. We knew many people at UPASI - my father still keeps in touch with friends there. Since we lived in the tea estate, it was a resort living for us. During summer holidays, all our cousins would land up at our house! I get so nostalgic thinking about those days. It was wonderful and peaceful!

    hello

    rainy season ofcourse...!
thats when we put the umbrellas in...!
go out in the rain morning noon or night
    have a fresh water bath.
    splash water alround
with feet that look like new born
    hair dripping wet
    eyes ...glee
    wish we were kids
    to splash the bubbles phut...
    clap hands in rain
    hold out a hand
    to drip drip drip
    hear musicals
    rain drops on roof tops
    or tin shelters
    we store rainwater too
    so tubs here and there
    washing pots
    with sticking clothes...
    there are oops oh dear
    slipping outdoors
    and
    brrh its cold
    says woof woof...!
