    Re: Filter coffee

    hey ladies

i am one of the filter coffee lovers. let me tell you something to make a nice cup of coffee

take a cup of milk and put it in the micrwave for 2 min( let it boil without spilling)
as the milk boils take a long jar add coffee powder(nestle instant coffee) , sugar and add the milk

now comes the magic .......take a hand blender and put the wisker and dip in the coffee and give it a stir...

and you can top it with some choclate powder or choclate syrup

    its really yummy! :coffee enjoy...

    Dear fellow Coffee lovers,

    I like my coffee in a tumbler and davara ( T & D), not in a ceramic mug. T & D add a magical flavor too.

    Hi Nivedi,

I absolutely agree with you! I also drink filter coffee in Tumbler and Davara. (I prefer drinking tea in mugs)

Infact for this very flavor i bought many sets of T&D during my last trip to Chennai.

Especially when we drink with full foam....:coffee

Besh besh romba nanna irukku pongo:)

    Cheers:cheers

    Re: Filter coffee

After a lot of homework , I finally came to the choice of using BRU instant from Indian stores..
Also while boiling milk i add few drops of condensed milk then with a coffee mixer I blend the coffee powder with the milk..
    Excellent coffee
Excactly a starbuck's Capacino or latte!!

    Hi Saratha,

Have you tried Kirland 100% Columbian coffee (dark roast) from COSTCO?

It tastes very close to South Indian filter coffee :coffee(ofcourse to be used in our coffee filter & not coffee maker). It is better than Starbucks!!

    Cheers:cheers

    Re: Filter coffee

    Hi Nivedi,

Just had a fantastic cup (or I should say T&D) of filter coffee !

As you mentioned, every time when we think of coffee...we think of it with full foam, the correct color and ofcourse hot hot (summer or winter).

    Cheers
    Krithika
