Hi, i am just looking for some good oil for frying chicken and pakodas which will make it taste good as well as be healthy.
Depends on what type of cuisine you are cooking. If it is the typical Indian style fried food then any vegetable oil is good for frying. Canola oil and soybean oil has a typical smell which may not be liked by many. You can also use Special Diabetes Care oil which is healthy. For Indian pakodas I always swear by vegetable oils.
vegetable oils are good for frying. Actually, you can use any regular oil for frying, just make sure you drain the excess oil on tissue paper. That’s what I do. Special oils like diabetes care oil, cholesterol reducing oils are also good for Indian type of cooking and frying.
You can use coconut oil too . In addition to giving flavour , it can also withstand high cooking temperature .
