Where to buy plain saree and designer borders in Bangalore

Hi Ladies,

Im planning to make my own designer saree for my cousins wedding. can someone suggest me where I can buy a plain crepe jacquard saree. Also suggest shops where I can get some designer borders, stone work patches etc...

Around malleshwaram will be of great help. Even if its not close to malleshwaram, please suggest... let me give it a try there too on weekends...

Hai sathya,best place where you get all kinds of borders and other saree accessories in rajamarket.That is the only place you get in bulk and in a wholesale price

Yes Sathya.. As chaitra said, you will get it in Raja Market.. Its a one stop place where you can get everything.. I got variety of motifs from there..

Going to Raja market is easy so better to go there. Its near majestic so not a problem. By the way crepe or other materials you can buy from mysore silk emporium bit costly but reliable even if you dont get saree buy materials and do it.

you get plain sarees in commercial street.borders and laces also in com street and old market shivajinagar

You can try Mysore silk udyog on Kamaraja rd (perpendicular to Commercial st) and Fazals/lals on commercial st.

If you want georgette or chiffon plain sarees, try shops near Old Market (Shivajinagar).
