where to buy flowers in winter for puja

Hello friends,

We re planning Satyanarayana puja at home and since this is cold winter time in North east, dont know where to buy flowers for Puja? any suggestions?

Also can you suggest good way to do rangoli on hardwood flooor, what to use , how to color etc. any ideas?

Hi,

All the best for the pooja.In winter, we cannot get much flowers, so I would suggest to buy the bouquet of flowers(available in local mall) and you have to tie like garland (using thread and needle)or keep as loose flowers.you can have your imagination in making garland.

You can use rangoli colors mixed with rock salt for rangoli,or you else you can get kundan and other kind of stuff in any craft shop to decorate as rangoli.

You can buy flowers from SAMS and other wholesale stores, farmers market, local groceries like shop stop,shop rite.

For rangoli you can get holi colors at patels ask them if you have patel or other indian grocery stores nearby....color chalks if you want to draw rangoli.
