I like Wacoal brand for bras. Very comfortable and sturdy. You can buy from their website, Amazon or department stores.
These days I mostly buy clothes on EBay or Poshmark. I like vintage Anthropologie. The only items I have to buy in person are jeans and work pants.

 

For strapless especially it is important that the fit is correct. This calculator is very helpful to get the correct size. You will still have to do some trial and error as different brands can have different fits for the same size.

Macys, Dillards, Ann Taylor, Versona, Chico, White house black market in mall. For clothes I want to try and then buy. Macys Dillards Ann Taylor are easy to return so I order online sometimes.

 

I love, love, love the thick cotton tshirts from uniqlo. Some pieces of H&M are also natural breathable fibers like cotton, hemp etc and non transparent.

I used to shop at WHBM and Chicos but nowadays I prefer clean classic cuts with single color and natural fiber that isnt see through and both the above stores fit the bill perfectly.

For bras, like @MalStrom mentioned, A bra that fits calculator is spot on for sizing and specifically for strapless bras, Wacoal is really good.
