I normally get Brown rice in Costco and the price is the cheapest I have found ( around $1 to $1.50 per lb ). Sometimes organic brown rice also shows up at this price. This is much more manageable than $3 to $4 per lb at the reguar grocery, which is high if rice is a big part of the meal you eat. The only problem is, it is seasonal. Brands will change, type of rice will change and often there are times when they have none before a different brand/kind shows up. You also have to experiment with the new brand as it potentially won't be as good as the one you used before. Is there a brand/store which you can reccommend for Brown rice.
I get the Laxmi brown basmati rice but I’m not sure what it costs since we don’t eat very much if it.
We buy Regal Brand from this website. Brown Rice. A friend of mine and his 3 other friends, we all buy it together once a year in bulk quantity.
