I use OneDrive for all cloud storage. We have a shared family account, and each of us gets 1TB of storage. They have individual plans too -- 100GB for $20/year or 1TB for $70/year. I use it to store classical music files, that's 100s of GB of audio files, along with other stuff. I too use OneNote for digital note-taking, web clippings etc, which was one reason I decided to stay within the Microsoft ecosystem. My OneNote notebooks and Office documents are stored on OneDrive so no matter where I access them from, they stay synced.
I wanted something instantaneous. I use external hard drive for online lectures than say, a Dr visit where I must remember instructions and advice, plus Dr is overworked
