I have a grey georgette saree with blue, red, dark grey shapes.

    I did pico stitch.

I am in the process of attaching fall -hat-tip to @sanjuruby3 for suggesting how to use scrap material for fall.

When I was folding saree I noticed that the Pallu end of the saree is unstitched

I had difficulty making folding stitch on my sewing machine. Yes I used a folding presser foot.

I figured the imperfections would be hidden from view.

But if I do the same novice job on the pallu end of the saree it may benoticeable

That is why I would like to attach a simpler border.

But where do I start attaching border and where do I end?

Thus is the saree I purchased

you can search some YT videos on Sari.
Are you asking you want to attach border/trim/lace etc on pallu side only ( to cover or hide pico hemm) and should look good as well?
Looking at your sari, you can do some black or red bias tape, you can not use something gold silver etc. I think
Probably starting from your hand down, then width and then back to same length....

Yeah, just to hide the pico hem

Ah ha, bias tape is so simple. Great idea!
