I believe you live in Bay Area, you can go to
    1. Red wood national park
    2. Pinnacles national park
    3. Muir woods
    4. Shark Fin cove beach

We went Muir woods for a hike few weeks back.

You can go out with extreme precautions hand glove , face mask, food , water. High social distancing
IMO don't include any friends Neighbors, keep to your family.
Plan as a day trip go by 7 am come by 7 pm.
Or go to any beach by 3 pm come by 9 pm. No over night stay or outside food.

People are going away to beaches and parks for getaways. The ones I know rent a place with a kitchen, clean it thoroughly upon arrival and carry enough food supplies so they don’t have to venture out much. No going to bars and restaurants. You can also do day trips with proper precautions.

Most people are out and about already, but not to crowded places. Beaches and lakes seem to be the most favorite of all. My boss is going to beach vacation with family next week and two of my colleagues are out on vacation this week. They stay in a hotel for nights and beach/ lake during the day.

You have to decide whether it is worth it to you.
I would not travel to a resort at this time, speaking for myself.

I wouldn't go to a resort during a pandemic. We have been going out to secluded beaches near our town and overnight camping in the state parks. We pack enough food and water and keep it to just our family of four. We use masks and hand sanitizers whenever we are in public.

You can only travel for your necessities to buy like Medicines, Food items from Supermarkets, personal things, Groceries and you won't able to move to crowded places.

Few of my acquaintances have recently gone for small trips to places in the outskirts of their cities...which are not populated and least risk...but I feel resort stay isn’t safe at this time..what is guarantee that the rooms are sanitised properly and that the staffs working in the resort and vendors supplying stuffs there are not asymptomatic carriers .?
Considering the risk and costs in hospitalisation for Covid in the US , I wouldn’t recommend travel anywhere except for buying essentials unavailable online or very important work that can’t be postponed...though the boredom and monotony can really get to you sometimes this isn’t the time to plan for any fun trips..

Well said. We have to stay healthy and safe rather than go for entertaining. I take it as a challenge not to go atleast till the end of the year.
