    I completely agree with SMG. I think this is the experience of 90% DIL in India. The thing that hurts most is H not stading beside us when there is something wrong at home. If they are so much Mama's kids, my advice is NEVER GET MARRIED.. However one thing i have learnt from experience is that, try to keep your H happy and slowly things will change...

    So true raroopa,it is the H who is responsible ,though making a commitment he is never going to stand by u.Indian men r always confused just to make there mom,s happy make the relationship hell.Can,t balance it.Iam not saying go against ur mom of course respect them but just bcoz they r insecure to loose there son to DIL is not correct.Assure them and in a Arranged marriage they all r responsible to bring the new person in family .Afterall in marriage both r commited to each other,then why all efforts frm DIL and the H just goes on to prove he is good Son!!!!!!
    After 5 or 6 yrs one gets adjusted to all this but the love is lost and by the time the H is over frm mama,s influence u reach oldage.
