Episode 27:


Tulasi was shocked as Diya spoke.

“Are you serious Diya?” – Tulasi was surprised

“I am” – Diya

“Are you really in love with… “ – Before she uttered that name Diya stopped

“You are right!” – Diya

“But….he is not that type…I mean the type that you expect or imagine” – Tulasi

“I know. That’s why I love him! He is totally different” – Diya

“But…..” – Tulasi

“I am going to Propose him” – Diya said and Tulasi was taken by surprise.

“When?!” – Tulasi

“Today” – Diya said and Tulasi laughed all of a sudden

“What happened?” – Diya

“Am super curious now! This is very interesting now!!! I am eager” – Tulasi said but Diya was actually nervous to propose him.

“Anyway, talk softly! Grandma might come” – Tulasi warned

“I knew that” – Diya

It was around 7 o clock, Joyal parked his two-wheeler.

“But Diya! Where are you going to propose him?” – Tulasi

“At his house” – Diya surprised her again

“What?!!!! Uncle is not there. But Mary aunty will be at home na” – Tulasi tried to help her.

“You know from where does he come now?” – Diya

“Where? Dropping his mom in a wedding hall! She is not at house now!” – Diya

“What?!!! You have been very dedicated?!!! Even I don’t know that she is attending a wedding today” – Tulasi

“I will go and propose him now” – Diya climbed down the steps all of a sudden and peeped into Grandma’s room. She saw Grandma was resting with her eyes closed.

“Perfect!” – Diya ran out of the house immediately and opened the main gate.


Tulasi was sitting surprised on the terrace.

Will all this work?

Is Diya really serious?

She was never serious and now with Joyal…. If this is going to be problematic, my relationship with Mary aunty will be in trouble.

But I have never seen Diya talking this serious about a guy. Never she proposed anyone.

What will be Grandma’s reaction if she comes to know this?

God! This girl is keeping me tensed without me doing anything.


Diya walked into Joyal’s house and Joyal was sitting on the sofa with the TV remote in his hand.

He was surprised seeing Diya coming without Tulasi.

“You?” – Joyal was surprised as he kept the TV remote of the table.

“Yeah!” – Diya said and stood without talking anything.

Few seconds of awkwardness filled the room and Joyal was very uncomfortable.

“What?” – Joyal asked with slight irritation.

“Actually! I got to tell you something important” – Diya started

“What?! Again, got into some trouble because of guys?”- Joyal asked..

“No….” – She shook her head

“Then?!! New problem this time is it?” – Joyal

“Yes” – Diya nodded her head as her heart was about to jump out in tension.

“What?” – Joyal

“I love you” – Diya said all of a sudden and Joyal wasn’t that surprised.

Again a few seconds of awkwardness filled in and Joyal broke the ice.

“I know you are going to say this some day or the other” – Joyal said and Diya was somehow feeling relaxed

“Happy that it is not a shock to you” -Diya tried to smile

“I expected this from you! But don’t act stupid anymore! What’s your age and mine? You have gone mad and that’s why you are behaving like this”- Joyal

“But no….” – Diya was about to explain and Joyal gestured her to stop.

“Just leave! Am not what you think” – Joyal said firmly

“But I really Love…” -Again, Diya was not allowed to complete the sentence “But I don’t like you or never will I…” – Joyal completed

“Why?!!!” – Diya asked with disappointed

“I love someone else” – Joyal said all of a sudden and Diya froze in shock

“Got it?! Never talk to me again on this” – Joyal said and Diya was quiet.

“Does Tulasi knows this?” – Joyal was curious

Diya stood as such. “No…. Tulasi doesn’t know!” – She lied.

Both the families share an intimate bond. It might get disturbed…. Diya thought.

“That’s good! Don’t spoil her! You are really a bad influence on her” – Joyal uttered the words from his heart and Diya dint talk anything.

“Leave now!” - Joyal said and Diya ran out of the house immediately.




Veni was sitting with a smile and Krishna was busy. Time was around 6 and all the departments were closed already. Since Veni and Krishna took the responsibility of the biology department, they both locked it and Veni was having the keys.

“So! Finally, Exhibition is over…” – Veni initiated the conversation.

“Yes but the real thing starts now” – Krishna

“Don’t worry! Our department will be the winner! We have worked hard” – Veni

“We will! But still it has to be announced na” – Krishna

“We both will be representing the department in case if we win” – Veni said happily and Krishna nodded his head.

As they walked, Akhil called Krishna.

“Krishna! Can you please come to the physics department? We need help in lifting that huge model” – Akhil

“Ok! Veni where are you going now?” – Krishna asked with concern as it was getting darker.

“I will wait for you here” – Veni said with a smile.

“Ok then! I will come quick” – Krishna

Veni was standing there quietly looking at the huge gathering in the ground. The stage was all set to receive the guests. The students, parents and people from the neighborhood were seated anticipating for the program to get started. Veni was excited to receive the prize representing the biology department.

As she was waiting, she saw Ashok searching for something.

"Hey!!! Are you looking for something?" - Veni started

"I missed my house keys!" - Ashok

Episode 28:


“Oops! Where did you miss it?!!” – Veni asked genuinely

“I don’t know! My friends have been searching in other places as well!” – Ashok replied looking for the keys.

“When did you last see your keys?!” – Veni

“I saw it around 4 in the canteen. After that I didn’t see! I searched in the canteen as well.” – Ashok

“Oh! After canteen, you came to our biology department, right?” - Veni

“yeah! Got to search there as well!” – Ashok

“But in few more minutes, they will lock the gates to all the floors! And its holidays from tomorrow. Come on! Quick! Lets check and come” – Veni

“Oops! They will close is it?!” – Ashok

“Yes! Come soon” – Veni took him and climbed the steps.

“Thank you so much Veni! In spite of all my stupidity, you are helping me!” – Ashok

“Come on! I wish you get your key!” – Veni

“Yeah! We don’t even have spare keys” – Ashok

“Don’t worry! You will get it” – Veni

“But it is getting darker! Is it ok for you?” – Ashok

“Come on! We will be back in five minutes! Moreover, you are there with me na” – Veni said as they reached the biology department.

“This door doesn’t have proper lock! Anyone can open easily and don’t know when they will fix it” – Veni murmured as she unlocked the room.

“Oh! Anyways, we need to return! Open the door quickly!” – Ashok urged.

“Ok ok! Calm down! You will get your keys” – Veni assured him

Veni opened the door and stepped in. Ashok followed her quietly.

Veni's hands were searching for the room lights and in an instant Ashok pushed her. The door was closed.

“Ashok! What happened?” – Veni asked and without answering her, Ashok held her wrist tightly.

“What are you doing?” – Veni was horrified in the dark.

“Do you think you are a world beauty?” – Ashok asked all of a sudden and coincidentally the students started playing drums in the ground floor.

“Helppppp” – Veni shouted at the top of her lungs and Ashok tried to close her mouth with his palm.

“Why are you doing like this Ashok?” – Veni asked as she gasped

“Why is it?!!!!” – Ashok

“I know many boys are already behind you and you are just loving it!!!” – Ashok

“I am loving it?!!! Who told so?” – Veni asked with confusion.

“Don’t pretend! Why don’t you choose someone? Why do you make them roam behind you?” – Ashok tightened her wrist further.

“And your father?! He is a hero, right? Hitting me in front of all the girls the other day! I will never forget that! Your father is such a…” - Ashok

“What the hell do you want?” – Veni yelled with frustration.

“I will be your first kiss and first…. “– Veni was terrified listening to his words and she immediately took all her strength to loosen his grip.

Veni bit him hard and he yelled with pain. Without delay, she pushed him aside and went in search of the light switches.

He chased her in darkness and she won to get defeated. She turned on the lights and Ashok stood smiling.

There was another guy standing quietly at the corner of the room and Veni felt chills seeing him.

As Veni tried to run towards the door, Ashok’s partner turned off the lights and Ashok was already holding her hands.

“Come on! Leave me! What was my mistake?!!” – Veni shouted at him and vigorously tried to push him.

“Don’t waste time! Kiss her” – Ashok’s partner said seriously

“That’s why I have come” – Ashok looked at Veni and Veni was terrified seeing his face coming towards hers.

In few seconds, someone opened the door with a bang. Ashok and his friends were shaken by that unexpected encounter and Veni stood as such.

Krishna turned on the lights and the guys ran away pushing him aside. Veni was standing as such.

“Veni are you ok?” – Krishna shook her and Veni bursted out in tears.

“I just came here to help him… But he…” – Veni cried

“Nothing happened right?” – Krishna was nervous

“He kissed me…… and “ – Veni wept

“And…..?” – Krishna was becoming restless

“And you came…..” – Veni let her hot tears on her wet cheeks

“Ufff!” – Krishna sighed with relief

“Come let’s go down at once” – Krishna

Veni didn’t move and stood as such.

“Its ok…nothing happened na” – Krishna looked at her.

“My very first kiss was from him…..”- Veni yelled as she cried.

“Come on! Its an accident” – Krishna

“You wont understand! It should be from someone I love….I have saved up all my love….All in vain now..” – Veni cried

“I never had any boy friend and I saved up all my love for……” Veni wept and continued again

“You never know how big this is for me…..” – Veni

“Nothing happened now! Come on! Get down! Lets complain!” – Krishna pulled her hand as she spoke.

Veni followed him and both walked down.

“Seems the results has been announced! Soon we need to be there to receive the prize” - Krishna said softly

“Am not going to the stage…..You carry on” – Veni said as she wiped her tears.

Both sat together far from the stage. They saw Madhavi and Akhil receiving the award though they belonged to different department.

“I think your dad is coming…..” – Krishna said as he got up and Veni looked towards the main gate.

“I will leave now.” – Krishna walked away and Veni’s dad walked in.

“My darling! Why are you dull?!What happened?” – Saravanan asked the moment he saw his sweet heart's face.

“Fell down from the steps dad! Its paining” – Veni hugged him tightly and saw Krishna walking away.


What if he hasn’t come there at that time. Would I have been to able to struggle with both those idiots? Veni wept heavily.

“Dear…. paining? no wounds on your skin… better lets go to the doctor!” – Saravanan soothed her.

Veni didn’t answer as she kept seeing Krishna walking away.

He missed his opportunity to receive the prize amidst his hard work.

And above all… I didn’t even thank him for saving me…. - Veni kept weeping as Krishna walked away.
