    Hmmm, I have to teach him otherwise his wife will complaint in the same IL that her husband is not doing the laundry :)

    My 8 yr old does her undergarments when asked to. She had been to a school trip this year for 3 days and I wanted to make sure she can at least take care of her undergarments, that's when she willingly learnt to do it and I just ask her to do it while bathing at weekends for herself.

    10-11 years kids should be independent...
    when needed they should be able to do all stuff on own...

    My 8 yrs old helps me in folding cloths, washing & cutting veggies and fruits...
