Durga Pooja also referred as Durgotsava or Sharadotsav in the Hindu festival that worships Goddess Durga. The festival marks the victory of Goddess Durga over the evil demon Mahishasura. Durga Pooja is widely celebrated in the Indian states of West Bengal, Bihar, Tripura, Odisha and Jharkhand for five days.
