What's the latest trend in sarees?

Hi,
Last week i've checked out all the stores at Chennai for sarees for my brother's reception.But i was unable to find something different.All the sarees were of the same old models - Shimmer with work,Georgette work,Zardosi work,Uppada pattu etc.But I would prefer something trendy and weightless at the same-time.The pallu should not have net.Yesterday again i checked out some boutiques at my place but no result.Please let me know what is the latest trend in sarees . Also please suggest some colur combinations for sarees .

Silk Cotton light weight desginer sarees are good for any function.....

The navyblue with dark pink border will look great
The maroon with mustard yellow border also looks great

Ok.But the work sarees are too heavy na. Especially the georgette ones.I had them for my sister's marriage two years back and i still cry to put on the saree.It pricks me!Anyways i'll not end my search.Thank u friends for all ur suggestions.
