I have heard my friends say, that they are always in a dilemma of what to cook for lunch/dinner? Let's share what we cooked/had for lunch.I hope this would help us in getting more ideas.

Let me tell you what i got:

We got chicken biriyani with beef olathiyathu and naranga pickle for lunch( I made them y'day ).Kiddo took rice and black beans for lunch(not much of a biriyani fan)

    Hi
Donot try chicken with spinach, i dont know how it will taste...
Combination with spinach in non-veg is mutton.

Yesterday night we had cabbage curry and chapati.
Today no time to pack lunch box will buy something and eat..

    Latha,

Nice Lunch.. Capsicum sambar?? How to prepare this? should we pressure cook capsicum with dal or separate?

    Thanks
    Archana :)

We buy it from Halal shop in Devon Ave, Chicago.
We get all Indian stuff here, so no problem.

    Oh dear
I was about to start a similar thread.Even i am confused what to cook daily.DrowningCooking is not a big deal for me but the deciding part is big headache.Daily i cook one daal item(sambar, daal with sabji etc),One subji and rice.Normal south indian food.Sometimes chutney or some liquid like pulusu.Noramlly rasam is part of dinner than lunch.Everyday i struggle with the menu part.I get bored with eating the same veggies and daal but cant help it.Sometimes i am very enthusiastic and have lot of ideas to cook.Sometimes i am so blank.Any ideas.................
