hey jenz.. a good thread to get more inputs to decide on ours!!! this is my first navarathri in us.. so no bommais or idols.. planning to go to devon next weekend to buy the 3 main idols.. lekshmi saraswathi and ganapathi.. so that i can keep golu on the last 3 days of navarathri... in my house my mom keeps 9 steps... we have many old idols which are really cute.. and they do some lightings and decorate the steps with silk sari and plastic flowers.. She also has a zoo and a park as an extra!!:thumbsup All good memories!!

Definetly will invite on just one evening. Last year I spread it and invited on 3 days and my dh and ds got upset with me saying "why so many ladies around"Drowning so this year just one evening. I dont have many dolls so will keep small shelf only. I have stuff to keep the park maybe I might just keep a park and not break my head bonk about other ideas! Lastyear I borroed my nephews swimming pool set and kept it with some lounge chairs and people lounging. This year maybe just regular park!
