    Hi friends,

Today my 4year old daughter's hair is completely shaved as her hair was very thin. Can anyone help me in suggesting, what to apply on her head to enhance the hair growth?

    Thanks in advance

For thick growth of hair, use Castor oil regularly.
After head shaving, there is a habit in our families i.e. for at least 3 months after head shaving,Castor oil should be applied on baby's head.So the new hairs grow very thick and also in black. But it stinks:roll:.

We apply normal coconut oil. But this time I bought a hibiscus-sesame oil mixture from india for my girl (we shaved her head on 1st birthday as per tradition). It smells good, not sticky:) i have quite good hair and my mom always applied coconut oil:)

Castor oil is very cooling for the body. If the kid is sensitive, applying often may give cold/ headache or any sinus symptoms. Apart from what is applied 'on' the scalp, what goes 'in' the body also matters a lot. The nutritous diet of green leafy vegetables, nuts, protein etc. help in promoting hair growth.

You can also try Almond oil. I apply it for my daughter regularly....it definitely makes the hair grow thick and fast too...:) I use Bajaj Almond drops. Not sticky and smells real good.
