What Movie did you Watch Today????????

Kabhi Kabhie - the classic with an impressive starcast of Rakhi Gulzar, Sashi Kapoor, Amitabh Bacchan, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh .

Eventhough I have watched this in bits and pieces earlier, this time I sat and watched the complete movie. Loved Sashi Kapoors role as an understanding husband who always supports his wife, Rakhis role as a woman torn between her love and her durty towards her parents and later on completely entrenched in her role as a loving wife and mother completely steals the show.

A story of past and how it affects the present, love lost and learning to love after marriage. Its truly a classic for a reason.

I enjoyed watching this.

 

Succinct review. I liked the movie that i had seen the it in theatre that was opposite of my lodge at chembur.
Khabi khabi maray dhil me ...song and tune was haunting for a very long time. I liked both versions.

Watched this much talked about multistarrer movie.

First of all, it should be a sin for the main villain of the movie too look that good !! (Heres looking at you Akshaye Khanna).

I loved him more than Ranveer Singh!! Rakesh Bedis role this time is unique as that of a slimy politician. Then theres Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Boman Irani, Sanjay Dutt (loved his character). Sarah Arjun is almost 2 decades younger than Ranveer Singh yet it doesnt appear so. The makers of this movie pulled a casting coup with this one. Getting 7 well established actors to act in one movie in different roles of varying lengths is no small feat and kudos to makers for achieving this.

I loved the taut plot, the politics, the conspiracies and the ending(?)

What I dint like? - their depiction of excessive gore, violence and torture methods in the name of showing reality. Definitely not to be watched with kids and not for faint hearted.

I cant wait for the backstory of Hamza to come as at the end, there is a to be contd...

Definitely watch this if you are a fan of politics and thrillers and action and romance and of course - a very good looking villain

 

Dominic and Ladies purse (malayalam) - Nice crime thriller by Gautam Vasudev Menon. Mammooty`s ripe old age is obvious, but did OK. Final twist is unexpected!

The other day I went to the theater to watch the movie #Dhurandhar (meaning in Tamil Parakrama sali).
While I was going, I was a little reluctant. The reason was 1. The film is in Hindi, and apart from a few words, we couldn't understand anything in Hindi. We asked if there were Tamil or English subtitles, and they said there were English subtitles. The first problem was somewhat solved. 2. The film is three and a half hours long. Although the only problem was that we had to park in one place for a long time, we decided to endure it in the interest of seeing Ajith Dhoval.

However, the effort was not wasted. Ajit Doval and Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt and Ranveer Singh have done a great job.

The film also beautifully depicts, in a way that is easy for ordinary people to understand, how the Pakistani hordes embezzled our money through the blatant disobedience and betrayal of past Congress leaders, how they used it to kill our people and destabilize the economy in our country, with the negligence or complicity of past rulers, and how they suffered at the hands of officials like Doval, who were well-versed in all this.

Many more films are to come. The veil of Congress pimps must be torn off. Next part is expected by mid 2026.

If you want a bite, there are plenty of bites...if you want a song, there are good songs...if you want sentiment...if you want comedy...if you want to see a bunch of Pakistani pigs buying sandals...and there are many more...☺️

Also, Sara Arjun's outfit and her look in the introduction scene are stunningly sexy (including the thulukkus) Go for it!

Wake up Dead Man: A Knives out Mystery. This is one of the Knives out series. A longish movie with runtime exceeding 2 hours but very complex mystery. Daniel Craig excels as Detective Benoit Blanc supported by others. A priest is killed and then walks out of his tomb alive. How and what happened? Recommend this whodunnit.

 

I love watching Daniel Craig the James Bond OO7 in any movie. He acts with elan and panache in dialogue delivery and wrestle as well.

His super action in five films in 15 years Bond Series from M16 To CIA spy drawn me to watch his films again and again.

Watched Single Salma. Starring Huma Qureshi and Shreyas Talpade in leading roles , the plot is about a 33 year old spinster who shoulders her entire family's responsibility and her family & friends quest to get her married off.

Light hearted watch I loved Shreyas Talpades role. Would recommend !
