I watched Jagame thandiram for the first time, situational movie. Very emotional but different. Hits hard. Made me imagine a world with only peace :relaxed:

The Mehta Boys - Hindi just released, it's there on Prime Video.

A father and son are stuck together for 48 hours. And how during this time they struggle with their different views and the old and new tensions in their relationship. Very watchable, relatable, great acting, just a bit slow. But such slice-of-life narratives are bound to be slow.

Boman Irani is the writer, director, producer and actor! His directorial debut. Avinash Tiwary as the son is good. The girl-friend / colleague and sister are also well-played by the actresses.

The reviews at Rotten Tomatoes are on the dot:
The Mehta Boys - Movie Reviews

Siddhartha Basu (of the Quiz shows fame) has a small role as the boss in an architecture firm, just a few board room scenes.I hadn't seen him in a long time, wish he wasn't in the movie. Nice to only remember the debonair looks and style from his earliest quiz shows. : )

I would recommend 2 movies in Netflix

    1 Luccas world.
Determined to help her son, who has cerebral palsy, Bárbara takes her family to India for an experimental treatment. Based on the book of the same name.

Makayla's Voice: A Letter to the World
A teen with autism unlocks a joyous world of self-expression as she shares her voice for the first time using a letter board in this short documentary.

Trial by Fire. I found the movie very moving. The end was not expected before I realized during end credits that it's based off true events.

Watched Kanganas Emergency. There were a couple of songs that were awkward and unexpected at the beginning. However the rest of the songs perfectly flowed.

Other than that, it was a taut movie. I'm not sure how true were the represented facts as I dont follow politics nor know much about political history. But the lead from the movie, has many shades of Grey. Kangana IS Indira in this movie.

All the characters look like the original people. I wont say anymore and give away the movie, but I really liked this one.

The longest ride - Watched in the flight. A Simple cowboy love story with a city girl but very engaging. The final twist is also enjoyable.

Watched Everest. I have seen it years ago. The incident is so haunting but inspiring.
Rob Hall seemed to be a hardcore mountaineer.. I wish he could have followed the 2pm rule and be here now. After all the sacrifices to reach near top, may be even I would have chosen to violate the rule I guess. Mount Everest will definitely change one's mind. So beautiful and majestic. It's a must-watch movie. So emotional. Kudos to Jason for the outstanding performance. Now I wish I want to go to at least the base camp to see its beauty.

Watched Emergency, Kangana's acting was so unbelievable. As Gamma said there was a unwarranted song. Dint know anything about Sanjay except his tragic death. Now I feel like I had a glimpse of their life from their perspective, totally different of what I have seen so far.

I watched Be Happy today. I liked the first half of the movie. But the second half was very predictable. I liked Nasir, Johnny Lever, Inayat and Abhishek Bacchans acting. Nora Fatehi is a typical eye candy. It's a one time watch for sure.

P.S. I remember watching a Tamil movie which had a very similar storyline but I can't recollect the name of the movie

Watched Naadaniyan. Omg why did I waste those hours of my life? I will never get back that time :coldsweat:

I also watched Azaad. Ajay Devgn was a surprise package. Both lead actors have shown amazing potential and will go a long way. The storyline is fresh. I did not expect anything when I started the movie but thoroughly enjoyed it.

P.S. I am looking forward to watching Shanaya Kapoors debut movie, Tu Yaa Main. Seems from the trailer that it's a thriller and she has an interesting role.
