Hindi movie- Aurom main kahan dam tha- ok for a one time watch. Expected few more drama from Tabu and Ajay Devgan. Good and convincing acting by the younger artists representing them.

Khel Khel Mein (Hindi, new one 2024).

After a long time watched a near perfect movie. Funny, excellent timing from all actors, quality humor that never gets cheesy. Based on an Italian movie called Perfect Strangers. The star of the movie for me was Akshay Kumar, maybe he got the punchiest and powerful dialogs. One of the other characters is a Sardar played by Ammy Virk, he also did very well. Vaani Kapoor was surprisingly more of eye candy.

Very nice. A movie I wouldn't mind watching again to give a friend company.

I saw some parts in reels or something in my FB feed. Somehow didn't feel motivated to watch it, even though it starred Tabu and Ajay Devgan. Maybe will watch it for the younger artists.

Watched Do Patti and Family pack. Loved family pack. Do Patti has a twist at the end but din't care much about Kajol even though she's one of my favorite actresses

Meiyazhagan (tamil) - Nice movie which is very different from the now a days masala. A young guy leaves his native town and comes back after 20 years. His bonding with a second cousin is the story. Within 15 minutes of the start we are glued. Decent acting and nice direction.

I sincerely tried watching it not once but twice...but unable to to get past the first hour or so. I failed to understand the hype and gave up trying to finish the movie

Meiyazhagan. A different and a beautiful movie. Sometimes little things we do touch people incredibly and they remember it in every walk of life and be determined to do the same to others.
Arul played by aravindswamy returns back to his hometown after a long period for his cousins wedding where he meets Meiazhagan played by Karthi.
Arul because of a bitter past is a changed man now or so he thinks. Meiazhagan through his innocence and beautiful nature brings aruls true self back.

Same here. Watched it last night, very disappointed. Friends recommended it and it has a 8.5 IMDb rating, so maybe I had higher expectations. I waited patiently for the part where the main story starts - the conversations between the two cousins - tried to appreciate it, but something was missing in the movie. Not sure what, the acting was good, story is also decent, but can't recommend even as a one time watch.

LOL.. the mind wandered to how Madhavan would have handled the role, how he would have eaten the wedding food on banana leaf and the bicycle ride.

The emotional scene at the wedding where she opens the gifts and puts them on was beyond corny.

Watched. Too much showing up for Kirti (bigger sister) and she changes at the end against her trait. That`s what happens in movies.

    Amaran tamil.movie

Amaran brings the awe of seeing the life of an army major full of love, kindness and valor on screen.

It's a dangerous story that can turn into a grinch if it's a little wrong, a documentary if it's a little careless. That is the story of someone we all know. Even after knowing that this is what will happen next, it is beautiful how it is presented so subtly.

In fact Sivakarthikeyan is ready for the next leap. There is no place here for all the usual copycat satires... and there are no richly drawn-out lines. But on the screen he stands majestically as Major Mukund.

As a college student, an army trainee, and an army major, Sika has shown a difference in his body and shows his hard work.

The heroine is more amazing than the hero. Definitely another cupboard in Sai Pallavi's house can be swept and cleaned and kept ready. I think he will win all the awards.

Malar Teacher has got a good opportunity in this film with love, love, family, affection, sadness, pain and tears mixed with romance. He is amazing with his performance without going anywhere.

We can see that some people are talking about the problems of Kashmir like this and should not be talking like that. First, one fact must be understood. This film is not a film that directly addresses Kashmir issues like "Kashmir Files".

I don't think it is necessary to go there and talk about world politics and show our genius because they are focusing on the life of a soldier, family, love, sacrifice and heroic death.

Five months of work and one month off. It takes 10 days to get there and maybe 20 days at home. They only live for two 20 days a year. In that time, they are destined to live a life based on love and love, leaving behind everything like family, children, and duty.

Don't bury the common sense here that you are struggling for your salary. We also work for salary but our gratitude lies in understanding that our work and theirs are different.

In today's society where even nation and patriotism have become bad words, so much explanation is needed to say something good.
Watching in big screen is recommended.
