Inspired by @anika's philosophy post, I am starting a new thread here. What makes you truly happy? Happiness is a very subjective word. We are wired to be happy on the things the world is happy about. Happiness is an emotional state characterized by feelings of joy, satisfaction, contentment, and fulfillment. While happiness has many different definitions, it is often described as involving positive emotions and life satisfaction. Looking at my IG posts, many people think I am the most happiest person on earth for having able to travel across the globe, mostly with family & having fun at work. Of course, these are precious moments. But I am not happy about them. The stress factors involved in preparing for such trips, arranging for accommodations, handling kid's classes while on trips etc..etc.. are too much to handle. In fact, I felt immensely happy & satisfied when I stayed home, wearing my PJ, slept long, ate home made local food, and especially when no one visited me so that I could stay peaceful & have some relaxing family time But, those moments are not IG friendly to proclaim happiness. That's when I realized the true meaning of happiness. Happiness comes from within & not from the external factors.
