    Dear Viswa sir
Thank you so much for sharing your views and experiences.
That's really wonderful. Those were the times (if I may say, Grandfather era) when dads were not too communicative with their children. Actions conveyed everything.
Thats the exact age boys start bonding with dad. I am glad you were at the right time to share a wonderful relationship with your son. Kids do understand when they see hardworking parents. Even a little time that a parent spends with the kid goes a long way.

you are a wonderful role model to your son. Reminds me of these kurals

Great Father and definitely a great Son.
    Thanks for sharing sir.

like most of us, kids realize only when they become a parent :) (if we are worthy a parent) :)

    Dear Jskls,,
Beautifully expressed. There cannot be a better tribute.
Father is brief, direct and to the point and this underplay and non interference that attracts children more towards him.while mother's role is apparent, father is mostly the unsung hero.while mother may get agitated over teen age problems, father is more composed.A single affectionate glance from the father is just enough. Children pour out everything chaff and grain.
It can't be denied that there are fathers who become addicts to evils and become embodiments of negative parenting.
Father throws the children into air( exposes them to experience) but catches them before they fall, pierces with glances when the rules are trangressed and is puffed up with pride wien the kids achieve.
He stands tall with his silence speaking volumes.
