    Answers:

Mostly As : Authoritarian Type of Parenting - You have high expectations of your children and set clear guidelines. It is oftern characterized with strict rules and sometimes harsh punishments. Sometimes you find it difficult to explain the logic behind certain rules. You might simply said "Because, I said so". Your children know how to keep you happy by abiding the rules. However, this type of parenting can be difficult during the teen years when children are known to break the restrictions or rules placed on them by parents. Such children also have low-esteem, lack of independence and show immaturity.

Mostly Bs : Authoritative -Authoritative is also known as positive parenting. Such parents listen to children, express warmth, love and administer fair and consistent discipline. They want their children to work independently and also have high expectations for their children. They are flexible and allow the child to explain and alter their response to a situation accordingly. Children of such parents are often happy, independent, self-confident, learn new skills quickly, have good control on emotions and develop good social skills.

Maximum Cs : Permissive - Permissive or indulgent parents have relatively low expectations of their children and rarely discipline them. Such parents avoid confrontation, lenient and have few inconsistent rules. They seem more like a friend than a parent, are very loving and nurturing towards their kids. Such children may lack self-discipline, be demanding, show intolerance and may feel insecure due to lack of guidance and discipline. They also lack poor social and may be less academically motivated.

So, which is your natural parenting style?

Nice thread coolblues. I think its completely age appropriate. If we are talking about children between 2-5, we tend to be b's...i guess thats why its in toddler section :bonk

Perhaps.. guess a mix of all the styles will be better for our children as they grow..

This is not only for children between 2&5.. it was more targeted for parents who have toddlers, school going and teens as children... :)
