Very Nice article Chitvish ma'am I never gave the name a thought before, even after meeting Satchi. Your mention of this in Snippets brought me here. So we all are "Sat-chit-Ananda" in some way, sometime or another. I particularly enjoyed the humorus yet correct references you made in the beginning. Those references said it all! Thank you ma'am.
Satchi, the first step is to give this subject a thought before going into, whether it sounds acceptable or not. The more you think about it, the more you realise that you are in tune with it. To start with, not dismissing these ideas as 'varattu vedantam' is the first step! Thanks for coming here!
Yes, Kamala, every person is sat-chit-anada, unknowingly (to oneself) & 'unaccepingly' (is there such a word??:idea) as well. My humorus yet correct references will help you remember easily the meanings!
Nice post Chitra maam. I liked the this one line very much: Knowledge must create the right attitude towards the world. One question chitra maam: Isnt happiness a relative word? Years back, what situations made me happy might not mean anything to me now. My 3 year old son says he is happy because he saw a cat today. And I could really see him fully enjoying that moment. I always think 'Peace of mind' to any man is more vital than 'happiness'. How does veda explain this to people who once lost the desire to live and now have come out of it and are searching for a reason everyday?
Dar Pavithra, Happiness is relative so long as it gives you pleasure, however trial the reason be!! I am not competent to reply the query you have raised, frankly! Sorry.
