    Imagine the situation like a router...you have wireless router and the regular wired LAN and WAN connectivity...its the same...just that the network device is different here (instead of router its printer..)

    oh....then it means the printer does't require any USB wire to connect to the Laptop / PC ?

    Exactly:) just like the way our near by network connections show up on our wireless devices list...this printer would also show up in the wireless devices list:cheers
