Dear All, When i close my eyes and think of bangalore, i have a special feeling. I am just wandering between trees in koramangla. Eating pani puri before the park. Lying at bed and speaking of office stories with friends at weekends.... What is your favourite regarding bangalore? :cheers Or i can say, when you think of it, what comes into your mind?
Hello Julie Welcome to IL. Yeah, i agree with you. Guess, S/w engineers are the primary reason for crowded city. :hide:
Hi Ladies, I have been in Bangalore for the past 9 years and this place has been very special to me. Moving out of my birthplace Mysore to Bangalore was initially a pain. But then Today I feel a part of Bangalore. Lovely trees around in most of the roads...lot of greenary which we have lost today...The first thing that comes to my mind are the trees of Bangalore.
The first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Bangalore are the trees and the parks in the city..well I know lot of trees have gone now...but that is the image of this city I have always liked and will cherish.

Bangalore is far better than any other place in india. 2.summer climate 3.Bakthi of kannada people and the temples. 4.chats(eatouts).I have become homesick because of this in singapore. 5.Fresh veggies and fruits. 6.Water. 7.My lovely Malleswaram. 8.parks(almost every area has a park) Quality of living is verygood in bangalore My dislikes 1.electricity cost 2 wet climate (most of the days.) 3.Traffic 4.poor public transport system 5.lazy shop keepers.most shops are closed from 1pm to 6pm
Hi Kamala, How are you doing? How is Singapore treating you? You have put everything one would feel about Bangalore! I have been in Bangalore ever since I could understand. Maybe just a couple of years of my life have I been out of this city. The list of likes is endless for me here. But when I was out of this place for an year, what I missed was my home...the chaats, trees, parks, Commercial street, Shopping areas and lot of eating joints! Soumya, where are you put up? It would be great if we get to see you sometime! [I'm even imagining you'd come up and say namaskara, namaskara] Nice topic Bujji. Regards, Hema
I miss the activitiy of bangalore.I miss road side chaat stores and carts with mangoes and jackfruit when in season. I miss the rush look the shopping areas like Gandhi Bazaar has during festival time. Its a warm feeling.
bengaluru as my sister-in-law insists me to call her city makes me remember the youthful crowd spread across the city - school and college going teens and employees of reputed MNCs flocking together!! Not many cities in South India have this youth crowd so visible, the other city which I can think of in the West India is Pune!
