What Did You Do In Your First Snow In Usa

We go sledding and also take kids out to make snow man.

 

I don't remember, but my son first ate snow . May be this year he will be interested to do snow man with carrot nose and stick hands. But it doesn't snow that much where we live now.
play with snow balls and hitting each other. take kids to someplace where you can rent the things needed(snow gear) to do snow activities

 

I was super excited when I first saw snow. I took out my camcorder and recorded for so long. My older daughter was 2yrs old then. Called up hubby at work and told him. He said wait for me, I will come early and we'll go out together. So then I sat by the window watching it. When husband came, we went out, played with neighbors kids, Took pictures, went driving around town, had dinner outside. After dinner, again drove around, had ice cream and finally returned home cold and tired. Put daughter to bed and called parents and narrated everything about snow.

 

It was a wonderful sight as snow falling from the sky.
We walked in the snowstrom and took pictures.

 

The day after I landed we had 12 inches of snow. Tried to keep my foot on the snow thinking I will be standing on top instead 'plop' ... my foot went inside ... snow went into the shoes and pants ...tried to hold snow in my hands wet snow it was ... didnt know how to make snow balls ... gave up finally. It was brutally cold and couldn't handle freezing hands/toes anymore.

Now what to do part ? Get snow pants ski gloves proper ski jkt and find out if there is snow tubing in your area. Or if theres a slope/small hill nearby get a sled (plastic is good) and go for sledding kids do enjoy sledding and snow tubing. My kids generally go and fall on the snow roll over and do all sorts of silly stuff of course dressed like an eskimo

 

I was so excited to see the knee deep snow and took lot of snaps

Next I did sking,snow tubing,skating

 

If it's wet, heavy snow, build a snowman. If it's dry, powdery snow, make snow angels.

Have a snowball fight. Be careful not to hit passersby.

Winter is the time for sledding, ice skating, skiing.

Bundle up and have fun.

I shoveled.
