    A helpful thread hrastro, thanks!

The "sweet8"" would be given mango lassi first and friend dry ginger-green tea
(I have kept mango crush in small parcel containers in freezer for quick lassi)

Nuts and dry -fruits uthappam for sweet8 Oats in spicy butter milk for the oldie

And I would make a quick chicken kabsa (arabic biriyani), as I have half cooked chicken in freezer.
(Alas, time is past 10 min but not more than 15 min, but I hope they r not bothered abt)

    Wow!! big list !!! 6teenpearls !!!

yes, kichdi is always a life saver too :) and if you have chopped vegetables - add them in the cooker too and 5 minutes, the cooker whistle will go "shshhshsh" :)

Best to use 2 or 3 liter cooker for superfast kichdi :)

Edit: It is really really tasty, sipping mango lassi and updating this thread:)

Do you use oats for dry fruit oothapam?? - would love to know the recipe !!!

And after mango lassi, I'm sure the sweet8 will wait for your biryani too :)
