The Hobbit definitely laid the foundation for the LOTR series. Looking forward to the movie too though I wish Peter Jackson would stop playing around with the story - Adding extra characters which were not there in the book.

Jennifer Crusie's 'Maybe This time'. Jennifer Crusie being a Romantic Humor novelist, started reading this novel with so much interest only to find a horror story about a haunted mansion and ghosts of 200-300 years holding on to 2 little children. If anyone is interested in horror, it's a good read :thumbsup

One thing I enjoyed doing in my vacation was to read through some good novels...I read couple of novels of various authors and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The novels that I finished recently :

    1. Strong Medicine by Arthur Hailey
    2. Tough Customer by Sandra Brown
    3. Thereby hangs a Tale by Jeffrey Archer (series of short stories)
    4. Pigeon Project by Irvin Wallace
    5. The Appeal by John Grisham.
    6. Rage of Angels by Sidney Sheldon (2nd time reading, still enjoyed it like my first read)
