I am currently reading The Secret of Secrets by Dan Brown. Im more than half way through this book. Its a page turner just like all his other previous novels. This one deals with the concept of self - what defines us? Is it our body, is it our brain? When we think of us, we think our memories, emotions, our ties to others etc. But do we have a common shared consciousness? California based noetic scientist Katherine Solomon and Harvard University History professor Robert Langdon are in deep trouble in Prague as there are powerful people who will stop at nothing to prevent Katherines book about this subject to be published. Eventhough I havent yet completely finished reading the book I highly recommend it

I never knew or heard about this esoteric science. I googled and found .
Noetic refers to the study of the mind and its processes, particularly in relation to consciousness, intuition, and spiritual experiences. It's an interdisciplinary field that combines psychology, philosophy, and spirituality to understand human consciousness and the nature of the mind.
In the context of Dan Brown's novel "The Lost Symbol", Noetic science is a fictional concept that explores the power of the human mind and its potential to tap into a higher level of consciousness.
In real life, Noetic science is a legitimate field of study that explores the nature of consciousness, perception, and the human experience. It's often associated with the work of Dr. Dean Radin, a psychologist and researcher who has written extensively on the topic.
Agog to know what eventually happens to Katherine Solomon .

I grew up listening to Bollywood legend late Dev Anand’s best songs and my father introduced his movies to me. I watched his iconic movies Baazi ( 1951) to Des Pardes ( 1978), and I have been a fan of his charming looks, romantic roles, dialogue delivery and songs since my collage days. I wanted to know his life phases and it increased when Dev Anandji published his autobiography “ Romancing with life” in 2007. During my India trips, I always asked in airport bookstores for his autobiography but my efforts were in vain. Finally, I bought the book on Amazon and was started with so much enthusiasm to know more about him in his own words.:)

“Me too” enjoyed his movies just for the elan in his dialogue delivery and body language. I enjoyed many of his movies but Jwel thief - I consider outstanding which also picturised in Tamil with Thesbian Highly emotive actor Shivaji Ganesan alongside late SELVI Jayalalithaa. The dance by Actress Vyjayantimala in later part of the jewel thief and the song that goes with it is one of most haunting scenes.
My son had huge collection of bios of bollywood heroes including Dev. Anecdotes and the various songs in his pic and the circumstances that goes with it found to be accidental creations out of live incidents.
