I recently read a book 84 Charing Cross road by Helen Hanif. Small book but very nice. One day we went to Charing Cross road in London...the road is full of book shops including the biggest book shop Foyles. Feast for book lovers. I tried to locate 84, Charing cross road but there is a Pizza Hut in its place. I felt sad.
This is a real story. Synopsis is available on Wikipaedia. Produced into a film many years back, it seems.

Dear Deepideepi,
You can try Neville Shute's novels. I read one book from Library. Then in a series I read 6,7 books from the same library. If you can get Pied Piper or On Highway please read them. Suspense, fiction, emotions...everything combined.
