What A Year It Has Been!

What a year it has been - 2020!!!

We are about to bid adieu to the year 2020, and it would be an understatement to say, oh! what a year it has been!

The word "horrible year" would seem an appropriate tag to pack off this year in a couple of days. But, it would be wise to look back and take stock of all we have been through during 2020.

It started with Australian bush fire, that killed millions of innocent wild lives. Then came this Corona virus, that not only killed lives, but also took away our jobs, economy, and many forms of our freedoms this year.

We have seen natural disasters, political instability, economic crisis, plane crashes and deaths of our beloved celebrities in 2020.

But thanks to 2020 for the lessons it taught us!

It reminded us how fluid our lives are. Everything turned upside down with one tiny virus in this world. Nevertheless, we are allowed to stay at home and spend uninterrupted quality time with our loved ones this year!

On a positive side, we have seen some non-permanent developments that world was looking for a long time:-
- Reduction of pollution, reduction on the use of paper & plastic, reduction in unnecessary spending, partying and travelling.
- Effective management of resources: We've learned to use available resources wisely, and economically. We have effectively run the business, worked remotely and managed the meetings & conferences with zero budgets.
- We have learned to respect our ancestors, and restored to simple remedies instead of falling back to the illuminati giants.
- Instead of gaming and wasting the time on-line, our young generation is successfully utilizing ICT and digitization to bring back normalcy via virtual world. The schools, office, business, shopping, and food are some of the virtual realities these days.
- And finally, we have learned that "Christmas is not about receiving, but it is about giving". Everyone of us have become the Santas this year, and we brought back the Christmas spirit by giving away for the needy.


Dear 2020,

Thank you for all the eye-openers and life lessons. After all that we have been through this year, I am sure all of us will emerge stronger, positive and hopeful to face your successor 2021!
