    Thanks for liking the tip and for your appreciation.

    I will surely write a post about thighs and love handles. One reason why I did not do it was because thighs are taken care of by walking and I always encourage people to walk.

    But thanks for the suggestion my friend. I will surely do a article on it.

    One more thing commendable about you is the patience with which you respond to each and every comment. Great show Shiva!

    I had read in you posts somewhere that you used to walk with weights on your legs and it helped in toning your legs. But i read somewhere that it can harm your knees. Did you face any such problem? And were you using 2lbs weights or more?

    Dear Raosh2,

    Yes I used to do that. half kg ankle weight on both legs. But they do cause injury so be careful. I used to wear 2 pair of thick socks to protect my ankles and then tie on the weight and then walk at full speed. I did it knowing the risks so I took full precautions and so I faced no problem.

    I was walking on the ground at that time so wanted to get in the real challenge. Now, I run on the treadmill to get that challenge so have stopped using the weights.

    If you want to have killer legs here are few points.

    1. Tie the weight and do the squats. They are killer for thighs. Standing on one position with these weight on does not hurt.

    2. If you go to gym then do a leg press.

    3. Lie on your bed with both feet on the wall, now push as if pushing the wall. Hold for few seconds and release. Do this for couple of minutes. This will do the firming :)
