Weight Loss team - To shed weight permanently

    Ideal weight 70 Kgs
    aim to loose 29/30 kgs

    dear friends,iam also trying to lose weight but failed due to lack of time for exercise .iam of 30yrs old wt is 80kgs and 5.2 height.and my main problem is sweet cravings and i dont know how to control this. and also plz suggest an ideal diet for my10 yrs old son .he is also having weight problem.i want to follow same diet for me n my son so that i can motivate him. plz help

    Hi friends I am a regular viewer of all this forums.I am writing this for my husband..He is 35 years old &5.6 inch height & currently 204 lbs.He is having diabetes hypertension & hypothyroidism.So as such our diet is low carb less oil etc.Based on all the researches I have made some changes in our food routine.He is having two slices of wheat bread with egg white omlette as breakfast will have rice only two times a week(that too 5 tsp)with lots of vegetables & a cup of vegetable soup.All the other days will have steel cut oats with rajma or chole or moong dal khichdi.Night time usually one dosa or three idly or soups etc.Weekends will have traditional Kerala breakfast (most of the times rice items but in limited quantity).Our exercise routine is morning half an hour walk on 5 days evening 45 minutes of elliptical or Zumba dance.With all these his blood sugar & all is very much normal but no drop in the weighing scale.Is there any modifications that I have to make in this routine?Any feed back will be appreciated.Thank you.

    Hi all

    I am new to this forum but also have the same problem of overweight.

    I just want to tell everyone that I have a seven month old baby, so you know that i have an extra pregnancy weight. I have worked on that and reduced it to 76kgs and my height is 5.3". I have no idea of my ideal weight what it should be pls let me know and also let me know how to start loosing weight.

    As far as i know, a regular exercise/cardio (best is walking for 45 mins - brisk walk) for atleast 3 days a week and normal diet should give us a long term effect.
