Breakfast: Barley-Jowar dosa with tomato curry and spicy brown masoor dal

    Exercise:
    Morning yoga - 60 mins

    No rice day!

Breakfast: barnyard millet & ashgourd curry

Snack: salad - shredded zucchini, carrots & ginger

Lunch: barnyard millet, sprouted brown Chana Kadalai curry

Exercise: none - rest day as I had headache

    Water: 1 litre

    Review:
I did good in vegetables but not enough water. I had a bad headache and was dizzy by afternoon and had to leave work early and take a nap as soon as is for home. I haven’t been eating my iron tablets and combined with the not enough water, no wonder I felt dizzy.

Also I’m tired of eating millet.. I need some rice or roti for a change. I don’t mind the taste of millet, but the texture feels weird when I eat it as rice substitute, with curries. Maybe I should stick to eating millets on kanji / ambali form or adding to dosas or making rotis with it.

Breakfast: small cup Brown rice, green mung curry and beetroot poriyal

Lunch: Ate out at work at Lunch buffett. Treat day! Enjoyed eating out after a month of better diet. I ate a bit too much, so no snacks today.

Resisted a lot of treats that are usually in office, both yesterday and today.

Girls, it is good to see the daily updates.
I am sorry, that I don't get the time to record my journey here, and I also had some hiccups here and there with leaves, and eating out. So, I was not consistent this time.

Nevertheless, I tried my level best to maintain healthy eating, especially eating on time and do at least mild exercise on a daily basis.

After one month, we should measure our weight. That's very important.
I hope you all have measured your starting weight already.

To keep us motivated, I would suggest we track our weights by every Friday (I don't wanna count weekends, coz they are my cheat days). and post.
If there are no change in our weight for consecutive 2 weeks, we should measure our size and see whether any visible changes there. If nothing happens, then we should reconsider our weight loss journey. Perhaps treating any health issues such as hormonal or cortisol etc

    No rice day!

    Breakfast: none

Snack: whole wheat bun with raisins

Lunch: multigrain (no rice) dosa with green mung curry & eggplant subji

Snacks: beetroot and cucumber raita, avocado, cucumber and tomato salad and a small portion of homemade banana bread (no sugar)

    Water: 1.5 litres

I did good in vegetables today. Water could have been better. Th it’s day if no exercise, should get back tomorrow so this break doesn’t become permanent.

yeah, this makes sense .. it’s good to keep track of efforts as well as results so we can be sure of the efforts are giving the results we are looking for, else we can tweak or overhaul our efforts.

Also, SGBV, glad you are doing as much as you can, even if you can’t post here more often. Do keep on working on this weight loss-for-better-health as much as you can. Even a small effort every day is still worth it.
