How are you all doing? I hope everyone is ok and doing your best to keep your workout and food intake.

No exercise and no walking too. Staying in the same weight only. No changes.

    Snack- one cup orange juice
Lunch- one cup rice and rasam, carrot stir fry
    Dinner- 2 chapati and chicken

Few Friends of mine are on intermittent fasting and follow a regimen of fast for 12 hours between breakfast and dinner. Only exception is of drinking water.
A other one claimed that after meal heavy or light - not to drink water for half a hour .
Another one said avoid curds in the night and finish supper always light before sunset.
Avoid c12 h22 o11 in all forms ie with or without calories completely.
Wish you all Godspeed in your endeavour to lose desired weight steadily and slowly so reduction stays permanent.

    Thank you sir.
Yes sir , I have heard about intermittent fasting too. My friends skip breakfast for the same reason. I am trying to follow IF but I have to take breakfast as I am on some medications in the morning. So I do breakfast at 9 am and dinner at 7pm.

There is another school of thought which opines that never to miss or skip the most important meal of the day - ie breakfast full of nutrition based that is taken around 8am. Body needs fuel to take care of various functions such as timely production of enzymes and keep one energetic for the day. Body produces happy harmone serotonin in day more than in night for which one has to take early. breakfast. Similarly if one deprives night sleep and remain in artificial light for ling brain cannot produce adequate melatonin which help body to function properly in day time.
    Just 2 cents.
    Regards.
    God Bless

After a short break, I am back again with the routine.

Breakfast: Oats with yogurt and banana. Breakfast will be taken at 8.30 am

Lunch: I cup of rice, Dal, veggies/Chicken. Lunch will be taken at 1-2pm

Snack: Handful of roasted peanut (or any nuts). Snacks will be taken between 5-6 pm

Dinner: 2 boiled eggs, boiled veggies (carrot, potatoes etc) and seasonal fruits. Dinner will be taken at 7.30 pm

This is my weekdays routine as I stay away from family, and mostly self cook or eat out (came here for work assignment)
During weekends, I will be home so the menu will be rich. But I will make sure I control the portion and count the calories for better result.

Nevertheless, this routine gives 13hr IF (without trying). No caffeine (no tea or coffee), and lots of fibre through veggies, fruits and oats.
I am concerned of proteins during weekdays, but during weekends, I will eat a lot of them.
At least there won't be fried items and junk food in my weekday menu.

Ill walk at least 2 kms daily, and do 30 mins stretching exercise at home.
I will also try to drink min 1.5 litters of water daily.

I am taking my supplements as prescribed by the Drs.
    Vit d3, B, Calcium, and Omega 3.

I hope my body and mind will support in this journey to lose weight before Christmas. Pray for me
