    Hi Pinky,

    I'm also happy by hearing from u also with me & our target also same 30 kg. V'll start from tomorrow.I read lots of information on different site.The plan i want to follow is below.
    morning after get up: drink 4 glass slightly hot water kept in copper vessel over night.(v have to drink water by sitting on aasan)
    after 1 hr 1 cup tea with 1 teaspoon sugar.
    from 7 to 8:30 pranayam & yogasana
    for morning breakfast 30 to 40gm oats with 200 ml skim milk at 9:00 o'clock.
    11:30 if u feel hungry then take small fruit then skip.
    1:00 o'clock take lunch with 2 chapati small,1 bowl vegetable,1 small bowl dal& 1 glass butter milk(laban) along with lots of salad.
    4:00 o'clock 1 small fruit like apple after 15 min 1 small cup tea.
    For dinner only salad or fruits or soup.plain only.no dressing nothing.u can take more fruits or veges.

    6:00 to 7:00 walking

    Follow simple rules.

    Take hot water in regular intervals like exery 1 hr or 45 min.

    add sprouted beans & fenugreek to salad.

    do not use more than 1/2 spoon oil per day.

    take fenugreek with hot water in early morning.

    take cinnanom tea with honey in morning & late night.

    That's all .Pinky what u think about plan.we can tak break after 10 days but rule is v have to eat 70% fruits & salad on that day.& again v 'll start this plan.Please tell me ur thought.Bye take care.....

    When do you guys start? I am planning to follow kitchuappa┬┤s diet.
    Will be nice to have company,as I loose motivation quite soon.

    I too should loose 50 lbs and let's start from tomorrow.
    my plan is :

    breakfast : oats and glass milk
    fruits or sprouts and lots of water in between
    lunch : 3 chapathi with curry/dal
    fruits/sprouts
    dinner : 2 chapathi with curry/dal
    lots of water
    night : 1 glass warm milk

    exercise : 1 hr walking/cycling

    Let's post our daily regime here and get motivated by each other in our journey.

    im so glad u hav all joined...there is a small problem i cannot start my diet till my exams are over which is on Thursday = D so im starting on Friday...wuld that be alright?

    My short term goal is to loose as much as possible by my Farewell party which is on Nov 20th...so im going to
    -follow the GM diet starting from 7.11.08 till 13.11.08
    - im also going to join my local gym

    From my research i hav seen that weight training and cardio are imporatnt for those who cannot go to the gym these websites will be usuful as they hav great workout videos which incorporate both

    Hi,
    I want to lose about 40 pounds (about 18kgs ) too. I have already started with the kitchuppas diet and am seeing positive results. I have lost about 5 pounds in 2 weeks. Its pretty easy to follow and doesnt require us to starve. I think its a great way to start.
    I am not doing any regular exercises so far, but I am definitely going to be more regular in my workouts. I do a little treadmill or yoga whenever I find the time.
    It will be nice to have a buddy group so we can watch each others progress and help each other if we slip.
